Intruder Alarm Systems
A typical Intruder Alarm System installed into either domestic or commercial premises
would comprise of several Detection Devices connected to a Control Panel. Sounders
positioned in the Hallway and externally on the front elevation of the building would
provide Audible Signalling. In addition the alarm system may use a communications
device known as a digital communicator to transmit signals to an Alarm Monitoring
Station to provide a means of alarm monitoring. The Alarm Monitoring Station then
notifies the police and keyholders of an alarm activation at the premises.
Setting
and unsetting of a modern intruder alarm system is most commonly achieved using a
Remote Keypad positioned within the Hallway or some other suitable area.
Professionally
installed, all cabling on your alarm system would be concealed wherever possible
by routing it beneath the floorboards. In this way your home security system will
cause the minimum of disruption to your existing decor and be better protected against
either accidental or deliberate damage.
We have always strived for perfection and were winners of the prestigious Premier
Award for Excellence in False Alarm Management in it’s final year (2003) for achieving
the lowest rate of false alarm activations nationally in our category. Since then
we have gone on to make further reductions in false alarm activations.
